Castle Howard, the Yorkshire estate which became famous through the TV series 'Brideshead Revisited', will host the BBC's Countryfile Live event this year.

The Caravan & Motorhome Club will have a temporary campsite at the BBC rural affairs programme's event between 11 and 18 August 2019.

The four-day show has a host of features including:

  • the Countryfile Main Stage
  • the Village Green
  • a Wildlife Zone
  • Farming in Action
  • The Livestock Zone

The TV show's presenters will appear live on stage. John Craven, who became famous for hosting the BBC's current affairs for children programme, Newsround, started as a reporter on the nearby Harrogate Advertiser.

Countryfile Live aims to show the best of the northern countryside. Past events proved to be sell-outs and it continues to be a popular TV show too.

Caravan & Motorhome Club members can get cheaper tickets for the event if they buy them before 1 July 2019 with these exclusive prices:

Adult £14.95
Child £7.50
Family (2 adults, 2 children) £37.40

Campsite Prices

Non-members £42 per night (for a 2-night minimum for 2 adults) plus a transaction fee of £1 per transaction.

CAMC Members £36.75 per night (2 adults, 2-night minimum stay) plus the transaction fee.
