Caravan and Motorhome Club announces pop-up campsites

The Caravan and Motorhome Club is creating two pop-up campsites at the Beaulieu Estate (Hampshire) and Holkham Hall (Norfolk) this summer

Following the success of its pop-up campsites in 2021, the Club will be returning to the Beaulieu Estate for two periods this summer, as well as launching the new pop-up campsite at Holkham Hall.

Brian Morgan, Head of Communications and Events at the Club, says,

The Club’s pop-up campsites are always located in green fields at top UK locations, and they offer a unique touring experience. Our in-house team of experts take great care to ensure all pitches are suitable for both caravans and motorhomes. We also do all we can to place family and friends together and create a more informal relaxed environment which helps to create a reassuring community feel, perfect for beginners.

Plus, we partner with local attractions to offer members top discounts and exclusive experiences along with working with local activity centres, food vendors and businesses to create a truly special holiday destination. Our team is on hand to help anyone new to touring or new to pop-up campsites.

The pop-up campsite at Beaulieu will open from 24 June to 20 July and again from 11 August to 1 September. The campsite will again be within the grounds of the Beaulieu Estate in the heart of the New Forest, just a five-minute walk from the museum entrance.

Prices start from £37 per night for two adults on a standard pitch with electric hook-up. There are on-site toilets and showers, as well as fresh water and waste disposal. The pitch fee also includes a 25% discount, plus free re-entry to the Beaulieu visitor attraction and a 30% discount on entry to Buckler's Hard Museum.

The Holkham Hall pop-up campsite, which opens on 8 July until 4 August, is located half a mile from the Norfolk coastline. Holkham National Nature Reserve and some of the best coastal cycling and walking routes in England are also nearby.

Prices start from £40 per night for two adults on a standard pitch with hook-up. There are toilets and showers on the campsite, plus fresh water and waste disposal, and the pitch fee includes 30% discount on admission tickets to Holkham Hall, Walled Garden and Holkham Stories.

The Club has created a new super-sized pitch measuring 22m x 20m, which can accommodate up to two outfits to guarantee a joint space for friends and family to pitch up together. The campsites are also dog-friendly.
