A luxury touring park situated on the Ratham Estate near Chichester in West Sussex. Fully-serviced hardstanding pitches surrounded by hedging to offer private pitches with 16 amp hook-up. Luxury toilet and shower block (Platinum Loo of the Year 2017), a laundry and indoor dishwashing area. Local amenities include an award-winning pub, bus stops, a train station, shops and takeaway restaurants all within a mile radius of the site. Local attractions include award-winning beaches, Goodwood Estate, Portsmouth and the South Downs National Park.

The Ratham Estate is situated in West Ashling, near Chichester. Steeped in history, it’s mentioned in the Doomsday Book and originates from the 15th century. A working farm until the 1990s, the estate has three Grade II listed properties on-site – a charming circular thatched chapel, the original water mill building and the farmhouse. The current owners, Lord and Lady Hodgkin, purchased the estate in 2011 and are bringing it back to its former glory, while also making new and exciting changes.

2015 saw the development of a luxury touring park on the estate. Concierge Camping offers 15 spacious hardstanding pitches in a landscaped area, with hedging between pitches offering plenty of seclusion. All pitches are fully-serviced, with a 16A electrical supply, free WiFi, TV and satellite connection, and the touring park is spacious enough to accommodate large units such as American RVs.

For camping with a quality touch you can hire four self-contained safari-style lodges that come with a fully fitted kitchen; with range cooker, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, TV, underfloor heating throughout, en-suite facilities, high speed free WiFi, a spacious lounge/diner and a private terrace overlooking the beautiful stream. Luxury bed linen and towels are also included as part of your stay.

Made from solid wood and luxury canvas, these lodges set a new standard in glamping that will not disappoint. Glamping has never been so good! Choose from lodges that sleep four persons in one double bedroom and one bedroom with bunk beds, plus a private terrace with seating and barbecue. Or lodges that sleep six persons in one double bedroom downstairs and two twin bedrooms upstairs, with a large veranda with seating and barbecue.

These high standards also extend to the on-site facilities, with a fully-equipped laundry, comprising of a washing machine and tumble dryer, an indoor dishwashing area and a brand new luxury toilet and shower block which holds a Platinum 2017 Loo of the Year Award. The site has a small bar and coffee shop too.

Local amenities include an award-winning pub, bus stops, a train station, shops and takeaway restaurants all within a mile radius of the site.

Guests have plenty to explore in the local area, with the famous Goodwood Estate and all that it has to offer close by. Notable events include the Festival of Speed in June, Glorious Goodwood horse racing in August and the world renowned Goodwood Revival in September.

The bustling cathedral city of Chichester is five miles away and the waterfront city of Portsmouth is just half an hour’s drive. Here you can ascend 360 feet up the Spinnaker Tower for a dramatic view of the city and coast, or take a ferry trip to the Isle of Wight and France.

For a more relaxed pace you can also head into the South Downs National Park, where a mixture of rolling downs and heathland, dramatic white cliffs, coastline and award-winning beaches provide a landscape that is ever-changing and stunningly beautiful at any time of year.
