Country View Holiday Park

Country View Holiday Park is set just 10 minutes away from junction 21 of the M5 in Sand Bay, which is just to the north of Weston-super-Mare and handy for all the delights of this traditional seaside resort.

Famed for its expanse of flat sandy beach, Weston-super-Mare has been a favourite coastal resort for generations. 2010 saw the opening of new Grand Pier, two years after the devastation of the original in a fire. The pier now features family rides, including a large indoor go-kart track, dodgems, a 'robo coaster' and even a 4D cinema. There is even have a 'Grand Bier' real ale and a 3500-seater concert venue, as well as 29 shops, bars and restaurants.

In addition to the simple pleasure of soaking up the sun and paddling in the sea, you'll also find donkey rides on the beach, a designated area for watersports, and boat trips around the bay. It's also where you'll find an annual Sand Sculpture Festival (end of May to early September) and the T4 on the Beach concert (usually in July/August).

Country View Holiday Park offers 120 pitches, together with seasonal pitches and holiday homes. Ideal for families, the on-site facilities include a large heated outdoor swimming pool, a children's play area and a games room with arcade machines.

Practicalities include free showers and toilets, together with wheelchair-accessible facilities and a laundry room. There's also a licenced bar and sun patio for you to unwind after a hard day's relaxing!

Close to the site are the Mendips and the Quantock Hills, the spectacular Cheddar Gorge, and the Roman town of Bath. You'll also find some great attractionsaround here, such as Longleat House and Safari Park, the eclectic Bristol Zoo, and Bristol's great Brunel dock area (home to the wonderful SS Great Britain). Fans of the turf will also enjoy a trip to the horse racing at Bath and Chepstow. Throw in hot air balloon festivals and many great carnivals and it's easy to see the appeal of this region.
