Brickyard Farm Lakes

Tricky to find as it's located down a small country lane from the village of Amotherby, just outside Malton. The grass was immaculate, with two large lakes covered in colourful water lilies, and many fishing stages. The weeping willow trees cascaded into the water and there was an air of peace and tranquillity. A beautifully kept campsite with 35 pitches. Some dogs were in evidence with some of the vans, and the toilet block looked modern. The fishing was open to non-residents, yet the owner was keen to keep details of the campsite private.
