Akebar Park

Nestled in the scenic countryside of Wensleydale, between two National Parks, is a family-orientated park with some 400 pitches. 250 of these have electric hook-up and the majority are on level grassed pitches (plus six hardstanding pitches). The toilet blocks have showers and laundrette. There’s lots on the campsite for children with a dingy lake (bring your own or buy one here), as well a play area. There’s an 18-hole golf course, a pitch and putt and a driving range. At the entrance to the campsite is the Friar’s Head pub, a stone building with local ales and traditional food.
