Palmers Farm Campsite

For just £6 a night, you can't expect luxury, as this campsite is as basic as they come. Just a field (overgrown in places). It isn't about the fanciest facilities, it's all about the views here, which look down across the valley to the tops of Penshurst Place. There aren't any facilities on the campsite, bar a rather grim chemical toilet point, fresh water and a rubbish bin. The campsite sits behind a cattle yard so if the wind blows in your direction be prepared for a bit of a whiff. But, if none of this bothers you, sit back and enjoy the view - it is truly incredible. Ground can be soft.
