Sunnyside is a multi-award winning family-run site located on 'The Road to the Isles' coastal route between the villages of Arisaig and Morar/Mallaig. A stunning West Highland location with access to one of several white sand beaches along its coastline. An ideal base for exploring the area or, a stopover when touring the Highlands and Islands. Ferry services to The Isle of Skye, Small Isles and Knoydart from Mallaig close by. Luxury facilities, including a heated toilet block. Free WiFi and eco-friendly too. David Bellamy Gold Conservation Scheme Award.

Facilities on the site include a modern and immaculate toilet block with underfloor heating. Here you will find showers, hairdryers, a shower room fully equipped for the disabled, and an infant and toddler bathroom. There is also a laundry room, dishwashing area and an outside shower for rinsing off wetsuits.

A handy, thoughtful touch that has been added here at the side of the building is a covered seating area with tables and chairs and lots of local information and maps of the area so you can decide which of the attractions to visit first.

Wi-Fi is available free of charge to enable guests to stay in touch with the latest news or those back home. Reception also has a shop selling basic provisions and local Highland gifts - the Highland cow badges and stationery are a must-buy as a reminder of your trip!

For tourers there are hardstanding pitches, with grass pitches for tents. There's also a motorhome service point for added convenience. Electric is available by pre payment meter on cards obtained from reception, in £1 and £5 denominations. There are also £1 cards available 24 hours a day from the facilities building. Electric vehicle hire is available on site (suitable for 1 or 2 people).

Sunnyside Croft is located in Lochaber, known as 'The Outdoor Capital of the UK'. It is an area of spectacular natural environment offering an abundance of activities. One of several sandy beaches along the coastline is accessed from Sunnyside and offers stunning views and fabulous sunsets.

A selection of boat trips are available to local islands and for wildlife watching. Traigh nine hole golf course is located just north of Sunnyside and was described as 'probably the most beautiful Golf Course in the World' by the Scotsman Newspaper. There's sea, river and loch fishing located in the area, and for the walker amongst you, local guided Ranger Walks take place from Easter to September each year.
