CAMPING AND TOURING

Whether you have a tent, tourer or motorhome you will be impressed with the touring and camping facilities. Pitches are highly maintained, flat and have all the space you need to enjoy the great outdoors. The park offers a large number of grass pitches, a limited number of hardstanding pitches and some with hedges to offer a greater level of privacy. The park also has a number of serviced pitches that have their own water supply and electric hook-up points.

There is one shower block located near to the camping fields. All shower facilities are free. There also is a laundry block with washing machines and driers, and an outside clothes drying area.

LUXURY CARAVAN HOLIDAY HOMES FOR HIRE

There are a total of 31 holiday caravans available to hire across the park. Each sleeps six guests with one double room and two twin rooms with the option of a pullout bed in the lounge in addition. Each holiday home is fully self-catering and bed linen is included in the price. There are two grading options of the holiday caravans with a choice of Platinum or Gold. All of the caravans have double glazing and central heating. All caravans have sun decking to sit out and enjoy the surroundings.

WHAT’S ON PARK

Our outdoor heated swimming pool is open May to September, weather permitting. There is a separate toddler pool for the little ones to enjoy splashing in the water. You can relax in the sun on a deckchair in the garden overlooking the pool and enjoy refreshments from the poolside bar.

Golfing facilities include a 10-bay undercover golf driving range, 18-hole grass pitch 'n' putt, nine hole crazy golf and FootGolf course.

There are four well-stocked coarse fishing lakes on site with well-maintained swims. The boating lake is especially designed for you to bring your own rowing boats and inflatable boats.

There is a private beach for the use of Waldegrave guests so you can soak up the sun, explore the rock pools and build the sandcastles all day long. Plus with the site's own boat launching facilities it is ideal for those who like to be out on the open water.

Children’s outdoor play areas are available at Waldegraves. The park has an all-weather, multi-purpose playing surface which offers young sports people plenty of room to practice their basketball and football skills.

The Granary offers a superb selection of hot and cold meals taking advantage of the masses of quality fresh produce local to Mersea Island. Eat in the superb comfort of the restaurant or on the decking overlooking the swimming pool. The Wheatgrain shop on the park is kept stocked with groceries, snacks and confectionary as well as leisure accessories, fishing tackle and gifts.

The Clubhouse will be open with live entertainment including children’s activities weekends only through the off-peak season. Kids can join Sammy and Bonnie through the early evening with laughter, fun and games and then sit back and enjoy as the stage gets taken over by amazing acts, cabaret, comedy and entertainment. EV charging points

There are six electric vehicle charging points for use during your stay, please visit reception for further information. Please note: the vehicles must be removed from the bay once fully charged, failure to do so will result in an additional charge being applied. The EV charging points are located behind reception next to the staff parking area.
