Treacle Valley Campsite (Manor Farm)

Ignore your satellite navigation to this campsite (which will take your down a very steep shortcut unsuitable for leisure vehicles) and you’ll find that Manor Farm is a simple rural campsite set in a meadow – note that it only accepts tents and no electric hook-ups are offered. The site has an on-site shop selling camping basics together with a basic toilet block. This offers toilets, showers and sink and is reasonable but not exceptional. However, this is missing the point – this site is all about peace and quiet in a rural scenic setting. A mile away from the campsite is pub that does food.
