Nestling on the slopes of ancient woodland, Hill of Oaks offers exclusive lake frontage for more than one kilometre along the shore of Lake Windermere. The campsite is family orientated with an on-site shop and well laid out nature walks where intrepid explorers can seek out the wildlife. There is also a natural secure play area, for younger visitors. The campsite welcomes touring caravans, motorhomes but no tents. There are also holiday homes and lodges.
