Syke Farm Campsite

A very basic tents-only campsite in the Buttermere Valley of the Lake District, that is aimed at walkers and backpackers, being set in awesome surroundings. Cars are parked on the road and access to the forty-pitch tent field is on foot. There are toilets and coin-operated showers, but not many of them so be prepared to wait in peak times. The nearby town of Buttermere offers two pubs that serve food to give you your reward after a hard day tramping around the rugged scenery that surrounds this campsite. ...
