If you’re looking for a campsite where you can truly live the life of luxury, read on…
Geared around American-style RVs and ideal for all large motorhomes, Carvynick Country Club is a purpose-designed resort that offers every convenience and luxury, no matter how large the vehicle. The campsite was accredited with four AA pennants and was given an exceptional rating of 95 per cent – a testament to the its high quality. And, as the site sits close to US RV and American motorhome dealer, Itchy Feet, you can even have a browse and decide what your next RV might be…
Access to the campsite is simple – the A30 trunk road is within close proximity. The site itself is wonderfully peaceful, incredibly well kept and beautifully landscaped – you’ll never want to leave!
The touring area is divided into several distinct areas with the 47 level, hardstanding pitches being up to 40 feet long. Many pitches come with timber decking and are fully serviced (water, electric hook-up and waste water outlet). A few benefit from far-reaching views across the Cornish countryside - bliss.
Central to all the pitches is a fabulous leisure complex that includes an indoor heated swimming pool (with toddlers pool), spectators lounge (ideal if you want to read a book while keeping an eye on the kids having a splash), a badminton court, Jacuzzi, sauna and spa. There’s even a five-hole golf course on site for those wanting to practice their swing. Little’uns won’t be bored here either – children will love the games room and pool table. Of course, if you’re not looking to have an active holiday, you can just as easily sit and read a book while enjoying the tranquility of the surroundings.
The on-site bar and restaurant serves fine food and drink, offering a luxurious alternative to cooking in your motorhome. Alternatively, you could travel a little further afield to the bustling town of Newquay (just ten minutes away), which offers an array of restaurants, cafés, bars and takeaways to choose from. The town offers plenty more to explore such as a thriving harbour, typical seaside shops and popular high street stores. Or just sit on the beach and relax.
The quaint town of St Ives is also a short drive away, with its unique boutiques, art galleries and pretty cobbled streets - it really is a treat here. The campsite is just 14 miles from the Eden Project.
Overall, this is an incredibly luxurious campsite with excellent capabilities for the largest vehicles, although more normal European-sized motorhomes are also welcomed. It is the perfect base for exploring the Cornish region.

Despite being very concerned after reading some pretty scathing reviews in between booking and arriving, we found the campsite to be very pleasant. Showers and lavatories clean with hot water on tap...
8 of us recently visited the Carvynick for 7 nights in two camper vans. Given that it was over £400 each for the pitches we were a little surprised to pull up to what appeared to be a building site...
