This spacious campsite is divided into areas by banking and hedgerows. Across from the entrance is access to gorse-covered sand dunes, through which a 10 minute walk leads to a cliff path down to the beach facing St Ives Bay. For the less mobile, a beach-side car park is only 1 mile drive away. The area is peppered with typical little Cornish fishing villages such as Coverack, Mullion, Porthleven and Mousehole. During the school summer break, the campsite hums with exuberant children. Bathing off the coast can be dangerous; particular note should be taken of any local warning notices.
