Covering almost 30 acres, Willowbank Holiday Home & Touring Park is entirely fenced and dense woodland separates it from the coastal road. The campsite runs an eleven and a half month season for holiday homes, caravans and motorhomes in pleasant, relaxing surroundings. It has 79 mixed pitches with electric hook-up. Facilities include heated showers and toilets, disabled access, laundry, dishwashing, dog exercise area and children's play area. Early booking is essential for busy periods and during the August Flower Show/September Air Show. Tents and large units over 8 metres are not accepted.

Willowbank Holiday Home & Touring Park is easily accessible from all of the North West. It is within walking distance of the National Trust Nature Reserve and Sefton coastline. In the local area is Liverpool, Southport and Knowsley Safari Park. It is situated 5 miles from the centre of Southport which is noted for its fine shopping and beautiful parks as well as its extensive beach.

The Trans Pennine Trail is an exciting route for walkers and cyclists that passes through the hills of the Pennines, alongside rivers and canals and through some of the best towns in Northern England. Formby Point has the largest stretch of undeveloped sand dune system in England and is home to a variety of animals and plants. The pine woods between the beach and the town of Formby are one of the last places in the country to see the rare red squirrel.
