This five-star adult-only site offers 40 level pitches, all with hardstanding and 10A electric hook-up, for motorhomes, caravans and tents. There is also a two bedroom bungalow, sleeping three people, available for self-catering accommodation. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, and there is a small exercise area on site. Facilities-wise, the site has a modern, heated toilet block with free showers and hairdryers, a separate wheelchair-friendly wash/shower room, plus an inside dishwashing area and a drive over motorhome waste point – all kept immaculately clean. There is also an electric vehicle charging point. Although there is no on-site shop, there is a local shop and pubs just a short distance away.

For the nature lovers, The Wash is just a few miles from Long Acres. Here you can visit the RSPB’s renowned Freiston Shore or Frampton Marshes, and other inland nature reserves like Gibraltar Point and Snipes Dales. These sites have planned events throughout the year, and are refuges for many wading and migrating birds.
