Harford Bridge Holiday Park

As well as touring pitches, Harford Bridge Park offers all year self-catering holidays in modern holiday homes, studio lodges, a shepherd's hut and a Victorian farmhouse; all these facilities are spacious and set well apart from each other.

There is free hot water and showers plus disabled facilities for campers and tourers. Other park facilities include free use of tennis court, table tennis, children's play area, laundry facilities, information and TV room and a separate dog exercise field. The park is dog friendly, and great for walkers and cyclists. There is even a cycle hub on site where bikes can be stored, hired bikes can be dropped off and there is a big map of local routes to take.

Harford Bridge Park is next to the West Devon Cycle Way (National Route 27) and a local bus route. Tavistock has unique Victorian architecture and as well as the usual chain stores there is also an exceptional mix of independent shops, a five-day covered market selling local produce, clothes and trinkets plus civic amenities that include public park, library, cinema with arts centre, swimming pool and bus station.

Further off site there are many tourist attractions to enjoy, including Dartmoor, several National Trust properties, Morwellham Quay (home of BBC’s Edwardian Farm), the Tamar Valley AONB and World Heritage Site. There are also adventurous activity opportunities nearby for canoeing, tree-surfing, mountain biking, geocaching, letterboxing and more.

All round, Harford Bridge Park is in a fine location for exploring Dartmoor, West Devon, the Tamar Valley, Cornwall and the spectacular coasts to the north and south. Alternatively, you can just relax in peaceful surroundings.
