The whole site is spotless, very quiet and designed to accommodate those with limited mobility and wheelchairs. The spacious pitches, a mixture of grass and hardstanding, all have electric hook-up, water and waste disposal.
Five of the 58 pitches are located on the Caravan Club Certified Location site which is set between the two fishing lakes and sheltered on three sides by hedgerows. This section has far-reaching views over the open Fenland and is for Caravan Club members only. The CL site has a toilet and hot shower facility and is equipped with 16-amp electric, water and waste disposal point.
The reception area consists of a shop which sells groceries, camping essentials and fishing bait. There is a book exchange library and local information sheets, and you can order newspapers from reception. The café sells hot drinks, snacks and home-made cakes. Wi-Fi is available across the park for a small extra charge. There's a full size boules court with all the necessary equipment for when you fancy a break from all the fishing or relaxing.
The campsite is dog friendly, with on-site walks around the fishing lakes and a five acre wood. There are also many public footpaths leading from the park into the Fens.
Fields End Water makes an ideal base to explore the region and there are many attractions in the area. Anglers will appreciate the fishing for all levels and those who enjoy walking have plenty of expansive Fenland to explore. There are historic towns and tourist attractions, both close by and further afield, and places to go, both indoors and out. A bus is available from the site which goes to Doddington, March and Peterborough. You can also change buses at March or Doddington to get to Chatteris, Ely, Wisbech and Cambridge.
For families who all like to holiday together but don't all fancy camping or touring there are luxury lodges available to hire. They come fully furnished and with all mod cons; two even have a hot tubs.
