From the expansive and stunning coastlines of the southwest of England, to the rugged beauty of the Highlands of Scotland, there’s so much to see, do and discover.

Touring and camping holidays are more popular than ever, so we’ve taken the hard work out of choosing from the hundreds of campsites available by featuring a selection of those we recommend, below.

Take your pick from any of these fantastic sites and get ready for a year of super staycations...

There’s a reason this region is so popular – a milder climate, expansive coastlines, World Heritage Sites and a multitude of attractions to keep you busy for a week or two. Cornwall is all about the coast, from quaint fishing villages to busy surf resorts.

Neighbouring Devon, with two national parks, is the perfect countryside retreat. Historic Bath and Glastonbury, along with dramatic Cheddar Gorge, are just some of Somerset’s delights, while Dorset’s Jurassic Coast is a haven for walkers and geologists.

The southeast of England – a region where white cliffs stand tall along a dramatic coastline and the ancient wilderness of the New Forest calls to the intrepid explorer.

There’s plenty to see and do here – from the architectural grandeur of Oxford and the riverside beauty of Henley, to a ferry ride to the unique holiday destination of the Isle of Wight.

Messing about in boats on the Broads, birdwatching at world-famous nature reserves in Lincolnshire or Suffolk, or leaving footprints in the huge expanses of sand of Norfolk’s beaches – these are just some of the countless things to enjoy in the East of England.

There’s also the grand city of Cambridge with its magnificent architecture, the wide open skies of the Lincolnshire fenland landscape, and the beautiful scenery of Mersea Island.

Home to some of the most epic scenery in the UK, nature certainly painted a stunning canvas with Scotland, where vast lochs, rugged mountain ranges and unspoilt coastlines are a sight to behold. With welcoming hospitality and breathtaking sights, Scotland certainly makes for a memorable holiday.
