When you head off on holiday, there’s nothing like a little sunshine to really top off a great break away. While we can’t guarantee you the British weather, we can assure you of a top-quality campsite in the perfect location for when the sun does make an appearance.

Whether you’re looking for sunny days at the beach, or want to bask in the sunshine on a relaxing, rural site, we’ve detailed some ideal Premier Parks for summer sun below. After all, it doesn’t get much better than a barbecue back at your pitch at the end of a warm day, does it?

  • CHESHIRE

Elm Cottage Touring Park
Set in eight acres of space, the site offers some fully serviced pitches and a six-acre camping field. Oulton Park is a 20-minute walk and a traditional pub is nearby.

  • CORNWALL

Atlantic Coast
Near the coastline of St Ives Bay and fringed by dunes, Atlantic Coast Park is only minutes away from the sands of Gwithian Beach, which is popular with surfers and families alike. Head in the other direction and you'll find St Ives itself.

Carlyon Bay
This beautiful 16-acre campsite is set amidst hydrangeas and rhododendrons within 30 acres of woodlands and meadow. Many family-friendly facilities including heated outdoor pools, play areas, crazy golf, a shop and dog walk. Footpath to sandy Carlyon Bay beach.

Porth Beach
This immaculate campsite is situated in a tranquil valley surrounded by open countryside but just a few yards from the glorious golden sand and surf of Porth Beach. Ideally located for visits to Newquay yet set in a more relaxed area.

  • SOMERSET

Country View
Set just 200 yards away from the beautiful Sand Bay beach near Weston-super-Mare, with 190 touring pitches on a quiet and peaceful campsite that caters for families. Facilities include a heated outdoor swimming pool and bar with sun patio, an arcade and games room.

Dulhorn Farm
Five miles from the coastal town of Weston-super-Mare, set on a working farm with views to the Mendip Hills. The site’s location is handy for Cheddar Gorge and the sandy beaches at Weston and Brean. There’s plenty of open space, with a central play area.

Holiday Resort Unity
Holiday Resort Unity is a short walk from the sandy beaches at Brean and is an all-in-one park offering something for everyone. On site there’s various eateries, an entertainment complex, swimming complex and activity centres. Nearby there’s also Brean Leisure Park with over 40 fun-filled rides.

  • WALES

Garreg Goch
The wide, open beach of Black Rock Sands is only a few minutes’ walk away from this caravan park. Predominantly a static park, there are hardstanding touring pitches in their own separate area, with three ideally placed near the play area for families.

Tyddyn Llwyn
Set in 53 acres of grounds and a few miles from the harbour town of Porthmadog. It’s also just a few minutes’ drive from the superb beach at Black Rock Sands. On site there is a shop and a rustic bar and restaurant too.

  • YORKSHIRE

Whitby Holiday Park
Enjoying a clifftop location, with many pitches having a view of the sea, Whitby Holiday Park is one of the closest parks to Whitby. Clifftop paths lead to sandy beaches, with Whitby and the gothic abbey ruins being a gentle stroll away.

Premier Parks

In total, there are 100 editorially-rated parks within the Premier Parks collection. For more details about all the campsites in the group click here.
