Newperran, Cornwall

Newperran is one of the UK’s top-rated holiday resorts with modern, clean facilities and views of the Cornish countryside –  there’s even a glimpse of the sea in the distance. And, of course, that’s great if you want to sit back and relax, perhaps with a glass of wine and a book.

This is a spacious site, in an elevated position overlooking the countryside. Its tranquil location offers the perfect respite from vibrant Newquay, nearby. But you can easily drive to one of the many beautiful coves in the area within 10 minutes.

Tent pitches are level and are located on the perimeter of the camping areas, which are surrounded by hedging and farmland with no road noise at all.

The big draw, however, is that this is literally an all-singing, all-dancing holiday resort offering all the family activities you’d expect including a skate park, archery, body zorbing, laser tag and the intriguing Superhero School. And there’s plenty for grown-ups too, with evening entertainment including movies under the stars and singalong events.

If swimming in the sea doesn’t appeal then there’s no need to leave the site – you can head to the indoor heated pool with an outdoor sun terrace if you want to dry off outside.

The onsite bar and eatery has been refreshed and will be opening at Easter with a new breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. The five-star facilities at Newperran also include an adventure playground, disabled facilities, family room with baby bath, launderette, shop and a games room to entertain the kids. In fact, if you’re planning on visiting this site with your children, expect to return year after year because once they’ve seen what’s on offer here, you won’t be going anywhere else!
