- Searles Leisure Resort, Norfolk
Set in Hunstanton, Searles Leisure Resort is for both young and old alike. A warm welcome is assured and the facilities are second to none. It’s also only 200 metres from Norfolk's beautiful beaches.
You’ll never be at a loss for something to do on the campsite and you can have a swim in one of the heated pools, relax in the spa, rent bikes from the hire shop, visit the seals of the Wash on a sea tour, play a round of golf or bowls at the country club, or relax with a drink in one of the bars and watch a show. The site is superbly equipped and offers several different grades of pitch, including mains service with 16-amp, water, waste and TV hook-ups, serviced pitches with 10-amp and standard non-electric. Camping pods are also available. All pitches include up to eight free passes for entertainment and swimming pools.
- Woodhill Park, Norfolk
On a clifftop position between Sheringham & Cromer, Woodhill has 250 pitches (205 with electric) for motorhomes, caravans and tents including 31 serviced pitches, eight with hardstandings. Luxury caravans with sea views can be hired. Three modern, clean amenity buildings, disabled facilities, family bathroom, and three family shower rooms. Dishwashing sinks and laundry room available. The shop offers groceries and basic caravan equipment. There's a children's playground, games field and giant chess. You can walk from Woodhill along the English Coast Path to Sheringham or Cromer.
- Colchester Holiday Park, Essex
Just a few minutes from the historic town centre of Colchester, this holiday park has hardstanding and grass pitches both with electric hook-up, with super pitches also available. There are three amenity blocks on site with toilets, showers and privacy cubicles. Other facilities on the park include a dedicated disabled unit, dishwashing and laundry. There is a large play area for children, and ample space to exercise pets. There’s also a shop offering all the essentials. New holiday lodges for sale within a secluded area of the park. Nearby attractions include Colchester Zoo, the coastal resorts of Clacton and Frinton on Sea, Mersea Island, the steam railway at Chappel, and Castle Hedingham.
Fen Farm is a rural, family-run campsite, set in 20 acres, protected by well-established trees and hedges. On-site there is a superb large toilet block, plus excellent laundry, dishwashing, disabled facilities and shop. There are 90 static pitches, 40 seasonal touring pitches, 60 camping/touring pitches, with or without electric hook-up. Fen Farm has held a David Bellamy Gold Award for Conservation since 1999 and also Platinum Loo of the Year Award for the last six years. As well as dogs walks on site including a wild-flower and conservation area, a short walk will take you to a long stretch of unspoiled dog-friendly beach. If you are lucky you may even see red squirrel or two around the site.
- Run Cottage Touring Park, Suffolk
Situated on Suffolk's heritage coast, near the small market town of Woodbridge, this adult only, family-run campsite is in a pleasant parkland setting. Run Cottage Touring Park offers 45 pitches, all having electric hook-ups. 14 hardstandings are available, as are seasonal pitches and glamping pods. There's attractive landscaping throughout, with flower beds and an ornate lily pond. This lovely, rural site is ideally situated for walking, cycling and bird watching. It has a dog exercise area and superb modern toilet block. The village shop and pub are within easy walking distance. The campsite is just 1.5 miles from a shingle beach and close to the fantastic RSPB Minsmere coastal nature reserve and the National Trusts' Sutton Hoo historical site.
