For a grown-ups only holiday check out our recommended sites just for adults

Nestled in an oasis of rural tranquillity, 1km outside the pretty village of Carlucet and just eight minutes from the A20 autoroute, in the heart of the Parc Régional Naturel des Causses du Quercy,  Chateau de Lacomte offers you the ideal starting point to discover the spectacularly mesmerising  'Vallée de la Dordogne' and the 'Vallée du Lot' where time stands still, one of France’s most beautiful regions. With 86 fully serviced pitches in its 32-acre park, there’s no chance of overcrowding, the large immaculate shower and toilet block providing excellent facilities. The site also offers Chalets, Mobile Homes and a Gite to rent. The bar and terrace overlook the large swimming pool and tennis court, a perfect backdrop for your evening meal at Restaurant Les Etoiles. Fresh bread and croissants are also baked on site every morning.

In the heart of the beautiful Somerset countryside, this adults only touring park offers a relaxing atmosphere and is close to some major historical attractions. With public transport access being easy if required, there’s no excuse for not getting out and exploring here. The site has grass pitches or all-weather pitches with electric. The spacious facilities block with its under-floor heating is great for winter visits. There’s also a laundry and dishwashing and reception stocks basic essentials such as bread and milk. Additional extras include pentanque courts and a beauty room where you can treat yourself to some pampering treatments.

Long Acres, with its warm and friendly atmosphere, is perfect for those wishing to get away from their normal busy life, chill out and relax in peace and tranquillity. Situated on Suffolk's beautiful heritage coast near the small market town of Woodbridge, this adult only, family-run campsite is in a pleasant parkland setting. Run Cottage Touring Park offers 45 pitches, all with electric hook-ups, 14 hardstanding, 6 serviced pitches and glamping pods.
