de62f9d1-36a8-410b-8f84-a4b1b055029a

If you're looking for a campsite for your caravan holiday which has a stunning setting, view or location, look at these gems!

We've picked seven (updated) campsites across the UK which we think you'll love. They have 'Wow Factor' which you'll remember for a lifetime.

We based all site prices on a one-night stay for a couple with electric hook-up in high season.

Concierge Camping, West Sussex

This site offers the ultimate in luxury camping experiences. The owner spared no expense, and they paid attention to every detail.

Set at the foot of the South Downs National Park, near Chichester in West Sussex, this fantastic site was declared AA Campsite of the Year for England in December and holds an AA five Pennant platinum award.

Concierge Camping

The 27 spacious hardstanding pitches are fully serviced and arranged around a central uber-luxurious facilities block. It's here you will see the first of many touches to make your stay extra-special – toiletries in every shower cubicle and by the washbasins.

Unique to Concierge Camping is its 15m x 8m Emperor pitches. These come with day living safari tents that house a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, sink unit with granite worktop, log burning stove and dining area.

Concierge Camping is the perfect base to explore the South Downs, Goodwood and award-winning local beaches. Dogs are welcome on the touring park, and there is a four-acre dog exercise area within the estate.

Dunnet Bay CAMC Site, Highlands

Dunnet Bay CAMC Site

This Club site occupies a unique location among the dunes with stunning views over the sands to Dunnet Head, the most northernmost point of the British mainland.

This area is tranquil and solitary, offering a magical experience with colourful sunsets, a moody ever-changing sea and it is beautiful in its remoteness.
The beach is a few minutes walk away, with miles of golden sand and dogs are welcome.

The area is ideal for walking and the perfect location for a day trip over from John o'Groats to Orkney and the other islands. Bird watchers can take a ferry trip around the Stacks of Duncansby to see a host of seabirds.

Facilities on site include grass pitches with electric hook-ups, toilets, showers, a laundry and dog walk. In nearby Dunnet (half a mile away) there is a gin distillery and a restaurant at the Northern Sands Hotel.

Pentewan Sands, Cornwall

Pentewan Sands

Location, location, location! The area is one reason why five-star Pentewan Sands makes our list of unique sites. It's right on the beach – some pitches are a few footsteps from the sand.

These get snapped up quickly though, so make sure you book early.

Pentewan has everything you could need on site – two indoor pools, a whirlpool bath, tennis courts, watersports, a supermarket, and plenty of places to eat. We feel that two of the refreshment establishments are pretty special, too.

Firstly there's the Jolly Roger pub. It's a traditional Cornish-themed character pub, with reclaimed fixtures, local ales and even a Cornish dictionary to help you get to grips with the local dialect!

The second is the Hubbox beach shack. The Hubbox brand has restaurants in Plymouth, Exeter, Truro and now at Pentewan Sands.

Set directly on the beach, the menu here uses the finest Cornish ingredients to offer handmade burgers, gourmet hot dogs and other barbecue specials slow-smoked over hickory wood chips. Keep an eye out for the specials board featuring crab and lobster treats in the summer.
