ZEMPIRE AERODOME II

KEY FEATURES

  • Vis a vis layout
  • Large front porch
  • Skylight window in porch
  • Multiple ventilation points
  • Dome shape with crossover beams

PITCHING
Easy to pitch, despite the more complicated than usual design. The central section and left hand bedroom inflate via one valve and the porch and right room through the other. It only takes five minutes to inflate and another five to guy out.

LIVING
A smallish central living space between the two bedrooms, but lots of headroom. The porch is a really useful space, ideal for cooking, storage or simply as an extension to the living area. The large front door has a PVC window and the rear door enjoys mesh backing. A cable entry point is fitted for electric hook-up and there are two panels of storage pockets.

SLEEPING
Bedrooms face each other across the living area and have darkened material. They are each three-berth but realistically better suited for two, as Zempire themselves acknowledge. There is a three-way panel at the rear that can be fully opened, opened to mesh or closed. Bedrooms have cable entry points too.

OUR VIEW
A very pleasant inflatable tent, made with high quality materials throughout – right down to the gold guyrope runners! These tents originate in New Zealand and the extensive ventilation throughout reflects that. It perhaps has less shared living space than we are used to in this country, but the porch makes up for it and families with older children will appreciate the vis a vis layout. A good option for shorter length trips.
