WHO’S IT FOR?
With its high spec and spacious living area, the Aero TL would suit a family of up to four who are serious about their camping and like to get out as often as possible

WHAT’S IT LIKE?
Like most models from this New Zealand brand, the Aero TL Lite is a smart looking tent but it’s what’s inside that matters most. The pre-angled air poles are specifically designed to maximise the floor space and create lots of headroom. The result is a feeling of space throughout, that makes a very comfortable living environment. That space is enhanced by the front awning, which can be zipped closed to create an enclosed wet storage section. During the day, the front door can be poled out to form a large sheltered area for cooking or sitting under. The main entry door can be unzipped completely and folded away into a storage pocket, or for more privacy can be toggled back halfway. It also features a mesh ventilation panel with internal cover. The mesh windows on both sides of the living area allow air to flow through and there’s a side door that provides alternative access.
The bedrooms feature darkened fabric to provide protection from the early morning sun and can be split into two rooms (3+2) with a toggled divider. Storage pockets in the living area and at ground level in the bedroom are handy for stashing small items.

WHAT’S GOOD?
Along with the quality of finish, it’s the amount of space on offer here that makes this tent. The floor space and headroom are both excellent and the front porch makes a superb storage area.

WHAT COULD BE IMPROVED?
Ventilation is excellent, but for a tent of this size we think it would benefit from a couple more PVC windows to let more light in.
