What is the Vango Stargrove II 600XL like?

Family camping has undergone something of a revolution over the past decade. The last 10 years has seen inflatable tents become popular in a way that no one could have predicted and Vango has been at the forefront of it all since launching its groundbreaking AirBeam range of blow-up tents back in 2011.

But despite leading the way with inflatable technology, Vango has not abandoned the traditional poled tent. Far from it, in fact. Many of its most successful tents in recent years have had poles rather than AirBeams.

The Stargrove II 600XL is the latest; a six-man tunnel tent with lots of living space and an enclosed built-in awning at the front.

With plenty of must-have features, the Stargrove II is perfect for families looking for a tent which is practical but is also great value for money.

Featuring Vango’s Sentinel Active flysheet (3,000mm hydrostatic head), this tent is not only waterproof but has a compact pack size. Once pitched, however, the Stargrove has loads of room, including queen-sized bedrooms, an extra-large double-section living area and pre-attached front awning.

The front awning provides extra enclosed space perfect for socialising, dining and storage and the living room has plenty of space for your camping furniture as well as pre-angled poles to increase headroom and useable floorspace.

Diamond Clear windows create a bright and airy environment in the living areas and can be covered up using the toggled curtains.

The bedrooms have a 60cm sleeping area per person, meaning you have plenty of room for beds and for storing essentials. The darkened Nightfall bedroom inner tent is designed to minimise the morning light, hopefully meaning you won’t be wakened at the break of dawn.
