VANGO SOLACE TC 400 AIR

KEY FEATURES

  • Luxury polycotton fabric
  • Four larger diameter AirBeams
  • Skylight windows
  • Heavy duty zips
  • SkyTrack system

PITCHING
Like most inflatable tents, this is quick and easy to pitch. The only drawback is its weight, the polycotton flysheet and sturdy airbeams making it a hefty thing to shift.

LIVING
The pre-attached front porch can be used as a kitchen area or as a mudroom, where mucky boots can be dumped before entering the main living area. It also makes an sheltered outdoor seating area. Inside, the living room is compact but has space for a couple of chairs And as well as providing extra stability against the wind, the pre-angled beams create extra headroom. The new SkyTrack feature allows you to hang lanterns or even wet clothes from the heavy duty beams.

SLEEPING
The two large bedrooms are big enough to house double airbeds or sleeping mats. The polycotton room divider can be unzipped and removed to create one large luxury sleeping area. The bedrooms have plenty of storage pockets and large air vents at the rear.

OUR VIEW
For a couple looking for luxury on their weekend camping breaks, then the Solace 400 TC is a great choice. TC stands for technical cotton – a combination between cotton and polyester – and the flysheet literally smells of quality and traditional ‘old-school’ camping.  It’s also effective at controlling the climate inside as well as effective resistance against the wind and rain. It’s not cheap, but treat it well and this is a tent that should last you years and provide countless comfortable camping breaks.
