WHO’S IT FOR?
For families who take longer camping trips and like some luxury in their set-up

WHAT’S IT LIKE?
At the risk of drifting into Carry On Camping territory, size isn’t everything, it’s what you do with it that counts. And the O-Zone 6.0XTR Safari certainly makes the most of its generous proportions. As with all of Outdoor Revolution’s range, this is a sleek-looking tent – not quite 50 shades of grey but certainly two or three. The large front porch has a huge door that can be completely enclosed or opened fully depending on the weather conditions and how you want to use it. Cooking inside your tent is usually considered a no-no but the Ozone 6.0XTR has large mesh panels above both side windows in the porch, which are designed to allow cooking smells to escape, and, more importantly, provide ventilation to stop the build-up of dangerous carbon monoxide from your stove. The porch is big enough to house a full camping kitchen, and because it can be fully closed, it’s a safe place to store food and drink. The inner door has mesh panels on either side and leads through into the bright and spacious living area. There are mesh-back doors on both sides (one with a rain canopy) and tinted PVC widows all round. A skylight provides even more light, although a blind would have been a handy addition on hot, sunny days as you would imagine it could generate a lot of heat inside the tent. The near-vertical walls create lots of usable floorspace and there is plenty of room for a good selection of furniture. The bedroom is in a 2+2+2 set-up, with zip dividers between each berth. The dark night material provides almost blackout conditions in the rooms for more comfortable sleeping and there are ventilation panels on the doors and at the back.

WHAT’S GOOD?
Quality materials; kitchen ventilation panels; skylight; large front porch area for storage or cooking; lifetime warranty on the air tubes
