What’s the Outdoor Revolution Airedale 6.0SE like?

The Airedale range from Outdoor Revolution has undergone something of a makeover for 2021. And following the success of the Airedale 7.0SE, the Yorkshire-based company has launched the new 6.0SE.

As you might have guessed, this is basically a smaller version of the popular seven-berth. These are top-quality tents, with loads of useful features, but what really makes them stand out is the unique double side annexe – designed to create extra sleeping or storage space without significantly increasing the footprint.

The annexe is multifunctional – it can be used as a walk-in wardrobe, a general storage area for bags and kit or a mini playroom for kids. Adding an optional inner tent turns the annexe into another double bedroom, taking the sleeping capacity up to eight, without eating into the main living space. In fact, should you need it, it’s possible to sleep another two campers with the addition of another inner tent compartment in the living room.

The Airedale 6.0SE also includes Outdoor Revolution’s new double-width patio side door, which is fitted with ‘Phoenix mesh’ – so called, as it springs back to life if it gets damaged. The three large bedrooms across the back are separated by zipped dividers and are made from a darkened ‘Twilight’ fabric to keep out early morning light.

Other features included with this premium tent include a wardrobe pole, a removable bathtub groundsheet for the front porch, and zip-up curtains.

All of Outdoor Revolution’s premium tents come with a lifetime guarantee on the air tubes and the unique IF Relief Valve means the frame cannot be over-inflated – if the temperate causes the air pressure to increase it will ‘self-regulate’ to prevent damage.
