What’s the Olpro Odyssey Breeze like?

They say big is beautiful, and the Odyssey Breeze certainly lives up to that. It says a lot about the way tents have developed in recent years that one which weighs in at 52kg – equivalent to more than eight stone – seems fairly normal. In fact, compared to similar-sized tents it’s actually not too bad, although we’d still recommend you don’t try to lug it around on your own.

The Odyssey Breeze is an extra-large, eight-berth tent. The large front porch includes a separate groundsheet and a front door panel that can be completely removed, allowing it to be used as a kitchen area, a wet room for storage or simply as a place to sit out under cover, whatever the weather.

The three doors have mesh screens to let fresh air in but keep bugs out.

The bedrooms along the rear of the tent have a darkened material and are split by fabric dividers that can be zipped out and rolled back to make bigger sleeping compartments.

The Odyssey is made from 150D, fully waterproof polyester, with a 5,000mm hydrostatic head rating with fully taped seams. The five inflatable beams provide good stability and extra storm straps are also included.
