WHO’S IT FOR?
A weekend tent for couples and smaller families looking for good quality materials as well as something that is quick and easy to put up.

WHAT’S IT LIKE?
Polycotton tents are the best of both worlds – a breathable flysheet with the traditional feel offered by cotton coupled with the better waterproofing abilities of man-made materials. The Brean combines both of those elements with inflatable technology to provide a superior quality tent. The built-in front canopy provides protection from the elements as you enter and leave the tent, and also keeps the worst of the weather off the front  of the tent. As well as the large front door, there’s a side entrance with a secondary mesh panel that allows air to breeze through the tent, while keeping out insects. There are various other ventilation panels around tent, and couple with the polycotton material, this makes the tent nice and cool in hot weather There’s more than enough living space for weekend camping, with plenty of room for tables and chairs and in the living room and generous headroom. The curtains zip closed for privacy and there are cable entry points on both sides – always a convenient feature. The two bedrooms are spacious enough for double airbeds and have darkened material designed to provide a better night’s sleep. The dividing panel can be unzipped and removed to create one large sleeping area.

WHAT’S GOOD?
The polycotton material gives this tent a quality feel, and there’s lots of living and sleeping space inside for a small tent. We like the fact that there’s two cable entry points and the rain canopy at the front.

WHAT COULD BE IMPROVED?
The materials mean this is a fairly hefty tent to transport and the polycotton adds a premium to the price.
