A quick and easy to pitch tent that is ideal for couples or solo campers on short breaks and touring holidays
WHO’S IT FOR?
Ideal for couples on weekend breaks or touring holidays
WHAT’S IT LIKE?
For a weekend or touring tent, the key feature to take into consideration has to be how quickly it can be pitched and packed away. And that’s what makes the Brean 3 Air ideal for short breaks. When packed away, it’s small and relatively lightweight, so doesn’t take up too much space in the boot and is easy to carry to your pitch.
The three tubes can be inflated in a few minutes and once the guylines are pegged out, you’re good to go. We reckon, with practice, you can have the tent standing in less than 10 minutes, which means you can quickly get on with the important business of enjoying yourself.
The rain canopy at the front provides some protection from the elements when you are getting in and out of the tent, although probably isn’t big enough to give you much cover when cooking outdoors. The main living area is fairly large for a small tent, with plenty of standing room and enough space for a couple of chairs and a table.
The large windows at the front and side make it bright inside and there is good ventilation, including a mesh-backed side door. The bedroom has darkened material and storage pockets and other features include a drop-down step at the front door and a zipped cable entry point.
Easy and quick to pitch. Bright living area with lots of headroom. Good quality materials.
