WHAT’S IT LIKE?

But nothing could be further from the truth, as the Coleman Mackenzie 4 Coleman proves. The steel poles provide stability and generous head-height to ensure maximum comfort. It’s also really easy and quick to pitch, which is the probably the key attribute in a tent for shorter breaks. This is a tent that has been designed to make life outdoors as relaxing as possible, with an extensive range of features, including BlackOut Bedrooms which block out 99.9% of natural light.

For a compact, weekend tent, the Mackenzie 4 is spacious for living and the XXL bedrooms comfortably sleep four people. It features two large doors, one with a peak for rain protection, whilst its triple layer windows (mesh/PVC/curtain) offer ventilation and interior temperature control. There’s plenty of space for furniture so it is a perfect refuge on wet days. The easy to pitch, sturdy steel pole construction ensures maximum protection from winds, with a 4,500mm hydrostatic head on the flysheet. With good head height, it’s great for taller campers too.  Other features include a zippable rear vent, accessible from inside the bedroom for plenty of ventilation.
