PITCHING  
A really easy tent to put up, with colour-coded poles to ensure everything goes where it should. However it is inner first, so you need to act fast if rain is forecast.

LIVING
The Gothic-arched shaped poles give the tent a pleasing look, as well as creating more headroom in the front porch area. The groundsheet is not sewn-in but it does rise up at the edges to prevent water getting in. There’s no standing room but there is space for a couople of chairs and a small table for relaxing out of the rain. Vents and PVC windows make the living area bright and airy.

SLEEPING
The Kobuk Valley features Coleman’s excellent blackout bedrooms, meaning you won’t be wakened by early morning summer sunshine. In theory this couldsleep four, but it would be far more comfortable for a couple, with the sleeping area perfect for a double airbed. There’s good ventilation in here too.

OUR VIEW
The Kobuk Valley 4 Plus offers far more than you should be entitled to expect for a tent of this price. It’s a great little touring/festival tent for two or three campers. There’s no standing room, but the porch is great for storage and a couple could easily sit here in comfort. Quick to pitch and made from good quality, waterproof materials, this is an excellent value tent.
