Walking Festival celebrates 50 years of Ironbridge Gorge Trust

The 12th Ironbridge Gorge Walking Festival, from 29 April to 7 May, offer nearly sixty walks to discover this amazing UNESCO World Heritage site. This includes a special '50 years of Ironbridge Museums' five-hour walk on May 7 which takes in many of the gorge's attractions. 

The walks are arranged into two groups: themed/family walks (up to around 6 miles) and longer treks (up to 21 miles). Suitability for wheelchair users and pushchairs is also indicated.

All walks are free, but booking is advised as numbers are limited to 15-20. To reserve a place or request a copy of the programme email the Ironbridge Visitor Information Centre or call 01952 433424.  For more details about the walks visit www.discovertelford.co.uk
