PHOTOGRAPHERS of all abilities are invited to enter the second annual photographic competition held by the visitors' website The Lake District Guide, found at www.lake-district-guides.co.uk

The pictures can be of landscapes, people, places or activities but the organisers are keen for something unusual.

The closing date is October 31 and the competition carries a first prize of £500 and two runner-up prizes of £250.

Photographs should be sent as an email attachment to [email protected]
