DESCRIBED as the UK’s first carbon-neutral campsite, Delamere Forest is now open. The new Camping and Caravan Club Site near Chester has introduced more than 4,000 native trees and hedging plants to offset the work done to create this new site.
Other 'green' credentials include rainwater harvesting and wood burning stoves, solar panels for secondary and locally sourced materials have been used where possible, helping the site blend into its forest surroundings.
