Trethem voted England’s top campsite
Trethem Mill, set in 12 acres of landscaped gardens on Cornwall’s Roseland Peninsula, has beaten some 3,000 other campsites to win the prize as England’s number one in the 2017 VisitEngland Awards for Excellence.
The site has been run by the Akeroyd family since 1992. Jane Akeroyd says: “Providing a warm welcome and a friendly and relaxing atmosphere in which people can enjoy their stays, has always been high on our list of priorities. We always try to exceed what our guests expect.”
A dedicated service point, wide choice of pitch types, wi-fi (chargeable after 30 minutes), on-site licensed shop, extensive information area and more are among the attractions for motorhomers.
