Old Oaks campsite claims another prize
No stranger to accolades, having already collected the AA Best Campsite in England award this year, The Old Oaks Touring Park in Somerset has scored a Certificate of Excellence from travel website Tripadvisor. The certificate is only given to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding reviews on the site, putting them in the top ten percent of listings.
The Old Oaks has this year also won a David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award, and a further special distinction from David Bellamy for its investments in green technologies.
The site also scores highly within the Premier Parks independent campsite rating scheme operated by the team behind outandaboutlive.co.uk
Tara White of The Old Oaks commented that the family-run site was keen to learn about visitors' experiences. “Some businesses shy away from online reviews as they worry about bad press, but we feel it’s important to be transparent and to actively encourage feedback, good or bad”.
Campsite Finder, part of outandaboutlive.co.uk, has launched its own visitor review facility. If you have stayed at The Old Oaks or any of the other almost 6000 campsites listed, we would love to have your feedback. Everybody in the camping, caravanning, and motorhoming community benefits when opinions and experiences are shared.
