Lancashire holiday campsite receives VisitEngland ROSE award
Holgates Silverdale, which is one of nine campsites in the Holgates Family Group, has been awarded a VisitEngland ROSE 2022 award
The holiday campsite, which is in Carnforth, Lancashire, received a quality score of 95% and a five-star rating after a recent VisitEngland inspection, which, when combined with positive customer feedback, earns Holgates Silverdale the prestigious Recognition of Service Excellent (ROSE) award.
The tourist board scores every aspect of the sites it visits, including cleanliness, toilet facilities, entertainment and restaurant facilities, décor, reception services and pitch quality.
Now in its sixth year, the ROSE awards are given to just 100 accommodation providers each year.
Owner, Michael Holgate, says,
It’s a real team effort and a great achievement for all our staff at Holgates that we’ve achieved this award. It shows we have a first-class holiday park with excellent facilities and mostly that we have friendly, welcoming staff, so it’s particularly rewarding to our team whose efforts promote our five-star standards.
Our staff are highly honoured to be part of this award, which we will wear with pride whilst continuing to exceed our Holgates customer expectations.
