International camping rally comes to UK

942732e0-818d-4e16-acfb-9c00ab5e84ef
THOUSANDS of overseas campers are set to descend on Suffolk this summer – and you could join in the fun.

The 75th FICC Rally takes place on 31 July to 9 August at Trinity Park, Ipswich. The event, organised by The Camping and Caravanning Club on behalf of the Fédération Internationale de Camping et de Caravanning, promises live entertainment for all ages, a trade area and coach trips to various tourist sights like London and Cambridge – but book early as the tours will be closed by the beginning of May.

FICC rallies are a huge camping celebration – no matter your unit. Few events can match when it comes to bridging cultural divides or forging long-standing friendships.

The rallies are held in a different location around the world each year and provide the ideal opportunity to explore new countries. The FICC was founded in 1933 at its first rally held at Hampton Court by The Camping and Caravanning Club – one of seven founding organisations.
