Throughout 2013, Hurley Riverside Park at Hurley near Henley-on-Thames has been seeking a name for its mascot character.

Visitors to the camping and caravan park have been invited to submit suggestions.

Now the park has revealed the winning entry: its character will be known as Hurbert. The winning suggestion, which was chosen from more than 400 entries, came from nine-year-old park visitor Sam Goldingay.

Sam wins a Lego City cargo terminal as his prize – Hurley Riverside is just a few miles from Legoland Windsor, and is a popular campsite with visitors to the theme park.

Hurley Riverside is one of the 103 Premier Parks for the 2014 season, each independently assessed to provide the finest touring experience
