The National Motorhome & Campervan Show returns next month!

The National Motorhome & Campervan Show returns to the East of England Arena next month (22-24 April), after two years of date changes caused by the pandemic.

New for 2022, will be ‘The Advice Centre’. Housed in the Cambridge Suite, you will find a series of expert speakers delivering free seminars, along with several big-name YouTubers on hand to answer your questions throughout the weekend.

The latest vlogger to be confirmed is Kathryn Bird of ‘Wandering Bird’ YouTube fame. Four years ago, Kathryn quit her job as an air traffic controller to tour Europe in a motorhome. Along with her (slightly bewildered) husband and Mac, their cocker spaniel, they've spent most of that time on the road (give or take 2020). She is passionate about encouraging others to have their own adventures, whether it’s a three-month tour or a quick weekend trip down the road.

You can catch Kathryn discussing ‘Motorhoming Made Simple’ at 11am each day, followed by ‘Touring Europe in a Motorhome’ at 11.30am. The full schedule includes topics such as payloads, security, and buying a vehicle.

If you’re thinking of heading to Peterborough, pitch bookings are open until 2pm on Wednesday 6 April, meanwhile booking for day visitor tickets closes an hour before the show opens each morning. If you’re looking to buy a vehicle, you will find over 30 dealers in attendance with a huge selection of new and used models for sale. Accessory hunters will have the chance to find all the premium brands in a one-stop-shop-style megastore. Brands on offer will include Fiamma, Dometic, Milenco, Thetford, Coleman and Truma.

As always, hundreds of other independent traders will also be exhibiting with various individual products and services designed to enhance the outdoor lifestyle. Your ticket includes access to the free seminars and free manoeuvring courses.

New theme for the Norfolk Motorhome & Campervan Show

Those heading to the Norfolk Motorhome & Campervan Show on 22-24 July can enjoy four nights of rock ’n’ roll themed entertainment as part of their weekend away this summer.

Previous themes at the Norwich event have been replaced thanks to a gap in the calendar after organisers pressed pause on the Midsummer show, which was previously held at Stoneleigh Park in June.

Bookings are up on previous years thanks to a line-up including The Jets, Mark Summer as Elvis Presley, Phil Hayley & His Comments, Mark Robinson & the Counterfeit Crickets, The Revolutionaires and many more.

Boston Jive will visit the show on Friday and Saturday to offer free jive lessons for both beginners and experienced dancers. They will also be on hand to assist with free 50s hair and makeup tuition for those wanting to fully embrace the retro look!

Beat the price increase on Warners Shows

Back in the summer of 2020, a temporary VAT relief was introduced to help tourism, hospitality and holiday accommodation businesses severely affected by the coronavirus pandemic. This has been gradually transitioning back to the standard rate and from 1 April, 2022, VAT will revert back to 20%.

This coupled with huge cost increases will see the cost of a camping pitch increase by £5 on all Warners Shows from April 1. If you haven’t already booked yours for this summer, hurry! Click here to book pitches and find out more information about each show.
