Couple embark on epic trailer tent journey

For most of us, the longest camping trip we’ll get to enjoy is a couple of weeks over the summer holidays.

Certainly not many campers will get the chance to emulate German globetrotters Melanie Heitmann and Stefan Krallinger.

They have been travelling round the world with their Camp-let trailer tent in tow for more than 900 days.

It's an epic journey that has seen them visit 46 countries and put their tent up and down more than 500 times. Sounds amazing… if exhausting!

Camp-let is this year celebrating the 50th anniversary of the first trailer being driven out of its Danish factory.

To mark the occasion, two new Camp-let models have been launched for 2019 – the Passion and the Dream.

Dream is closer to the familiar Camp-let design, while Passion has been given a whole new look, with a new frame, better ventilation, more storage and expansion options and blackout curtains.
