Our verdict
Is it really possible for a tent to be cool? We certainly think so, and this new one from Decathlon's own brand, Quechua, is about as cool as it gets.
But, what do we mean by cool? Essentially, like every other tent, it's only a bundle of fabric, a few bits of fibreglass and a couple of lengths of string. How can that be cool? Well, the answer is in what you have when the tent is pitched.
First of all, it self-inflates using a built-in electric pump. That's pretty cool, we'd say. Then there's the unique, rounded shape when it's fully standing – you've heard of the bubble car, well now meet the bubble tent! Again, very cool.
But what really makes this two-berth tent super cool is its unique skylight – a huge, circular PVC window that takes up most of the roof and allows you to gaze up at the night sky from the comfort of your bed. It all taps into one of the most romantic ideas about camping, of being able to sleep under the stars.

Our verdict
The Robens Yurt is the poled version of the inflatable Aero Yurt. It's a stylish, retro piece of kit that captures the mood of a bygone era but with a host of modern design features, like polycotton fabric, large tinted windows and a mesh-backed, insect-repellent front door.

Our verdict
Fashionable Japanese outdoor brand, Snow Peak, is relatively new to the UK camping market but has certainly made its mark. The Zekka is another cool design that makes great use of the space – with a huge panoramic panel along the front that provides superb views.
