Camping gear review: Tilley Face Mask
It looks like we’ve still got a while to go before things return to normal (whatever that is) on the Covid front, so here we are, reviewing face masks.
Yes, you can pick up an cheap pack of 10 from Lidl, but we all want something more stylish and considerably less impactful on the environment.
Think of these as the perfect mask about town. Tilley, manufacturer of good-quality (or ‘quite dear’, depending on your outlook) hats, has come up trumps with a range of mask patterns.
Choose from the Eco (super-soft and comfy) or the Cotton (better for longer periods as the adjustable strap toggles and wired nose keeps it firmly in place) and both come in a range of fabrics.
The one-size-fits-all cotton versions could be a little loose for some, though. Prices are £20 for a two-pack of the cotton versions and £25 for a two-pack of Eco.
These are not medical-grade face coverings, but both versions handily come with a pocket for an optional filter (not included).
