Camping Awards: Tent Of The Year 2021

061c74c5-fdfb-48c1-ae2c-8dd67ffd6295

While other award ceremonies have been scuppered by coronavirus, we’ve refused to let the small matter of a global pandemic stop us rewarding the best tents of 2021.

Our annual Editor’s Choice Awards are all about helping you decide how to spend your hard-earned cash – the tents that have made the biggest impression on us and that we think will make a massive improvement to your camping life.

Despite the lockdown restrictions, over the last six months we’ve been able to inspect dozens of tents. As always, in our quest to find the best we’ve taken into account value for money, spec, innovation, versatility and good old-fashioned usefulness.

The choice has never been greater or of a higher quality and that has to be great news for you, the family camper.

Choosing between all the great gear out there is always a difficult task, but some products do stand out from the rest, and that’s what we are recognising in our 2021 tent awards.

OVERALL TENT OF THE YEAR 2021

Vango Anantara III Air TC 650XL

  • Six-berth tunnel tent
  • S.I Pro single point inflation system
  • Technical cotton fabric
  • Built-in front awning
  • £2,000

Our verdict Since launching the AirBeam range 10 years ago, Vango has consistently led the way with inflatable family tents over the last decade and the new single point inflation system takes it onto another level.

It takes something special to rise above the crowd, but we think the new Anantara thoroughly merits its place at the top of the pile.

As well as boasting the latest technology, this is a luxury family tent packed with features and high-quality materials, that should help you enjoy years of memorable family camping holidays.
