These cover folding campers/trailer tents, frame, ridge, dome, hoop and geodesic/semi-geodesic models. The listings include current recommended retail prices, berths, weights, fabrics, and in which issue they were featured. The lists will be updated on a monthly basis.
For a photocopy of a test report (only available from June 1996 onwards), make out a cheque or postal order for £2.50 per tent report (group tests supplied August 2000 issue onwards) to Camping, specify which report(s) you want, and send with a large stamped addressed envelope to:

For ease of access to the categories, we have sub-divided the Family, Touring and Lighrtweight tents as follows: Family - over 10kg; Touring - over 3kg to 10kg; Lightweight - up to 3kg. However, weight is always subjective. For example, in some cases you may categorise a tent between 4 and 5kg as 'lightweight' when used in mountain conditions during the winter. | |
