Saturday evening's main act for 2008 is the singer Joe Longthorne. He'll be supported by comedy band Schooner, and from the finals of X Factor, Voices of Soul.

Over the weekend they'll also be music from, The One and Only Mandy Winters, The Birthday Boys, Smokey Mountain Boys, The Piggies, Bob Oakley, and A Legend Reborn. Plus, line dancing instruction from Feel the Beat.

Take the chance during your visit to the area to take a walk around the market town of Newbury, on the Saturday of the show we provide a subsidised bus service into the town.  The Kennet and Avon Canal dissects the town, which has many historical buildings and places of interest including the Corn Exchange Theatre and the Museum by the Canal.  The Newbury Racecourse is within 1 mile of the town centre and nearby are Highclere Castle, Donnington Castle, Snelsmore Countryside Park, the Ridgeway, the Downs and a host of other attractions.
